i've tried all i can think of.A girl wants a bath at 40掳C. She puts 130kg of hot water at 85 掳C. How much cold water at 24掳C must she add?
Assume x is the water added at 24c


(x+130)*40 = 130*85 + x*24


Solve for x.


40x + 5200 = 11050 + 24x


16X = 5850


x= 365.625
