My 3 year old did the same thing for a while. It's so frustrating isn't' it?! We tried the bath paints, bath toys, standing up in the tub instead of sitting down in the water, we even got the pool toys out to see if that would work, nope. The only thing that made a difference was we gave her a dry wash cloth, the thickest we had in the house, for her to hold over her eyes when we wet her head. She was resistant at first but soon realized she had some control and could keep the water out of her eyes. We still use the wash cloth but not every time, only when she gets a little moody about it. Now she will even lay down in the tub and float in the water, she loves it! Good luck!Why do you think that a 3 year old girl would hate to have a bath at home? but she likes swimming?
Young children usually hate having baths, so maybe you could try making it fun for her.
Because bath time at home maybe is not fun to her as swimming she thinks that is fun.
try getting bath paints and toys IE dolls,ducks,tea sets also i use to put a shower hat on my daughter she even did swimming goggles for a while she now loves baths
I agree with the last answer- swimming is fun! I used to babysit these girls who had really cool bath toys- even bath crayons that they could write on the tub with. Try making bath time fun and at a consistent time each day- kids crave consistency!
