Is it abnormal for a girl to pee just a tidbit in the bath?

I was just taking a bath, and had a little gas, and a little urine came out. Is this something to worry about?

No, it isn't normal after the age of 4.





It is good manners and training for a young lady never to break wind unless in the toilet. The force of passing flatulence can sometimes cause more than just a quiet passing of wind - this is how accidents happen.





You need to be able to train yourself to retain wind and urine, sometimes for very long times. Men are luckier they have different muscles.





Females have the pelvic floor muscles and guys have a totally different set of muscles.





Ladies don't break wind, in company or in the bath. Boys and men are animals so don't worry about their dirty habits - just keep yours.

All of you are essentially right, however, she doesn't need to drain the tub and shower. Yes, that seems like the normal thing to do, but honestly, the bath water ratio to the tidbit of pee wouldn't matter in the least. Babies do it all of the time, and we don't even know. They get out smelling like just bathed babies, not pee soaked wee ones. Also, believe it or not, urine is actually sterile. Yes, sterile. There could be no infection of the skin or mucous membranes that would occur from this. The only thing I wonder is, if this is the first time that it has happened, keep an eye on things. If you notice that you have to go more frequently lately or if you notice a sense of urgency to pee, you may want to get checked for a urinary tract infection. If you can't afford to go to a doctor, just drink tons of water and cranberry juice and see if that helps first. Good luck, dear

its not something to worry about- everyone pees. and water makes us have 2 pee even more!


next time, if u accidentally pee in the bathtub, get out, drain the water out and either start a new bath or a shower. it would be kind of gross to bathe in youre own pee- it defeats the purpose of bathing hun!

if it was a warm shower then it happens. the bodies temperatures changes and cause our bodies to do stuff , its like the prank of putting a sleeping persons hand in warm water and they pee without knowing it, same thing.

sure it's normal. When you released the gas, you lost a little of the pressure you were keeping on your bladder holding the urine in.
Sure, sure. Hot water relaxes the bladder muscles, like the rest of them. Don't worry about it.
If that happens I think it would be best to drain the bath and finish with a shower.
