When boy/girl bath play crosses the line?

I have twelve year old son and an eight year old daughter. We've always let them take their baths together. When never really thought much about when they touched each other ';down there'; because it all seemed so innocent.





But last night in the bath, the girl took a snorkle and put the top end on the boy's kookoo and started blowing through the snorkle. Suffice it to say, I broke this up pretty quickly when I saw it, but should I have? I don't want to teach them to be paranoid about their bodies.When boy/girl bath play crosses the line?

Here's an idea.... Let them take separate baths. It's not like they are babies. You have one young child and a kid who is almost a teenager. That's just weird. I wouldn't be worried about them being paranoid about their bodies, but having emotional/mental issues as they get older. Yes you should have stopped the play, you should have stopped it a LONGGGG time ago.
no need to be paranoid about their bodies.. just start letting them bathe speratly.. twelve?! he should have been taking baths and showers on his own by now i would imagine. just explain they're to old to bathe together, grownups dont bathe together, only children.. thats just how it is. you and your spouse don't (well maybe you do, but they dont need to know)
