How do you bath a little girl?

This is a serious question not some perv. thing.





I was asked to babysit for my cousin, which I agreed to do, she's 5. My aunt told me along with a list of other things to give her a bath.





I was embarrassed to ask her, but how do you wash her private area? Just a quick scrub on the outside with a washcloth, or??

Well, considering it is just for one night - don't stress! Her mother obviously trusts you and you sound genuine so just make sure she is happy! She may be one of those kids who likes the door shut when she goes to the bathroom or bathe, when I was babysitting a 3 year old she always asked me to shut the bathroom door when she urinated but I always just stood outside with my foot in the door so I could hear or sense if anything went wrong. When it comes to bathing just make sure she gets in the bath okay and maybe you could busy yourself in the bathroom like clean the sink or organise a shelf so she feels she has a little bit of privacy, keep a close eye on her though incase she slips in the bathtub! When she is finished ask her if she has washed everywhere, then your part is done! Your her cousin, not her mother!!!How do you bath a little girl?
Since she is five, she can probably do that herself if you ask her if she can. Otherwise, gently wipe from the front (top) toward the buttocks (never back to front as that could cause a urinary tract infection) three times: middle, to one side, and then to the other side but don't use soap as that can be irritating. Tell her what you are going to do first. Girls are like that, ya know! Don't let her sit in the tub for too long either (also the urinary tract thing).
Best advice I can give is to call her mother and ask her if you need to bathe her, or if she can do it herself.





If you need to, then ask her directly about washing private parts. Say you've never bathed a girl before and you just need to know how it's usually done.





Her mom/your aunt obviously trusts you with her daughter, so it won't cause her to think you a pervert for asking if you do it honestly and directly.
She probably knows how to wash herself. Just help her wash her hair and dry her off. Just give her a soapy wash cloth with soap on it and let her go. The water in the tub itself will pretty much do the job itself Its good of you to ask the question though, so you don't make a mistake.
I think you should just give her a loofah or a cloth with soap on it and tell her to wash herself down there. It's only one bath so it's no big deal if she doesn't do a great job but she should be big enough to do it. That way you won't feel uncomfortable to do it.
She's 5. You don't touch her. You can tell her what part she needs to wash, then you leave the bathroom. At that age the only person allowed to touch her private parts is her mother.
she's 5....she's old enough to wash her self......give her a washcloth with soap on it and ask her to clean her self....i'm sure she knows what to do, her mom probly lets her do it by herself
Give her the cloth and tell her to do it herself. Even if she doesn't do a great job it wont hurt her just the one night
ask her to do it herself.

At five, she should be able to wash herself... All you need to do is supervise. :)
